View Full Version : deleting the skeleton after posing???

can someone please tell me how i can pose a rigged character and then delete the skeleton without having the mesh jump back to initial pose etc????

Duplicate the mesh when it's in the pose. Unlock the channels and your good to go.

Another way is to pose your character select the mesh and/or skeleton and go to "edit-delete all by type-history", and then delete your skeleton. The skeleton will be detached from the skin and you can delete it without your mesh jumping back to it's bind pose. :)
Save various poses as different files. :)
