View Full Version : Plugin Manager and .DLX?

Hi,
I made a simple .dlx plugin with the sdk, and it loads and works fine. The thing is, as I update or improve it, I need to recompile, and copy the .dlx into max's /plugins directory. Now, I can't overwite the old .dlx if it's in use by 3dsmax.
So what I wanted to do was go into the Plugin manager, and unload my plugin (just like in maya) then overwrite the old .dlx and re-load it.

The problem is that no *.dlx plugins show up in there?! Is that normal? How can I unload a plugin temporarily without having to restart max each time I make a change?

Any help is appreciated.
