Title: Industrial Swimsuit Model
Name: Otto Van Koert
Country: Belgium
Software: LightWave 3D
This character is my "industrial swimsuit model". It is modeled after a 2d-image by Tariq Raheem that I liked. You can find the original work at

I made some modifications to allow for more interesting animation options (open rib cage moves in an animation). It probably made the model weaker than the original design though. I also chose a more swimsuit-model-like pose.
The character is modeled and rendered in lightwave and I used some postprocessing (overlay layer and some glow). Modeling was done using subpatches (subdivision surfaces). For the stones I used a displacement map. Most textures are derived from photos I made, but some are hand-painted.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions for improvements, especially for the model, her pose and her expression.
PS: Let me know if anyone is interested in a higher resolution version or wireframe.
