Hi, I wanted to make a good looking female head and went on with it and now I'm trying to make it a complete project by puting a small scene after. I'm thinking of naming it "Tu veux danser?". It means "You want to dance?" I haven't decided on what the scene will be but I want the focus to be on her. aculaly I'm thinking of puting a chair on the side with her purse.

C&C please.

Good start, but i think you shoud turn out the hand. I'll be more expressive.
Keep going

very nice model! The shoulder seems to me a little too big viewed from the top... could you post some wires too?

I think the shoulder is O.K. ...the structure is really nicely described. The hand though...you need to shrink the palm bit and leave the fingers that length...they should definitely be longer. I could be wrong, because of the view...but it's an amazing model as it is anyway!

Thanks everyone!

About the hand, I evan checked myself in the mirror to make sure it was the right way. So I think I'll keep it that way.

For the shoulder, it's true that from that angle it seems a bit large.. I'll check that again, thanks.

And the finger lenght... hard to say... I'm checking it in my viewport and they seam ok... but what realy matters is how it looks from my camera (the picture with the grey skin girl shows you what angle it will be at the final render)

And here's the wireframes. It could be better but for that pose I think it does fine. But I'm thinking of making the topology better so that I will be able to start from that body for most of the girls I'll make later.

Oh and, for the hair thing, I realy like it that big because it goes hand-in-hand with the green rose in her hand. I did some research and a green rose means "I'm from mars". It's just a way of saying that she's sort of a funky girl, not afraid to try new stuff.

I think I found the right kind of lighting. The lights are not set a the right places but I'm sure of using those "Area Lights" on the final image.http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c208/Olivier_Theriault/Good_looking_girl_53.jpg

hehe. :buttrock: Maybe we have to ask her who she prefers? hehe.
Youre right, the stairs a little big, as the sofa...

To be honest, I preferred your previous setting with the small chair. How about creating a "restaurant atmosphere" with a small stage all around it?

I just noticed something, have you ever seen a girl/woman without a bracelet or something like that? Adding a bracelet could add some more "spice" to her....lol.

Very good modelling! Ill keep a track of your thread... :p

Cheers!

Great model! The shader make her look alive.
My only crit corcerns her feet. Maybe it's just me but aren't they too little?
Keep up the great work!

Well.. I did a lots of changes... I'm now aming for a simpler scene... looks better that way I think...

maikeul - yep... as you can see I placed a brace.... A gee.. I think it was hidden when I rendered...

Matze4d - nah!! She could dance feet naked on broken bottles man! High heels aint gonna set her back!

I took the time to compare it with a side view of a character Fransisco A. Cortina did so I think its ok...

This really looks good. The dress is awesome. She has a pro wrestlers' sholders though and her forarms are manly. Also there is this little speck on her wrist in the flower hand not sure exactly what that is.

Thanks!

I don't think the shoulder is too athletic but.. the forearm is looking manly like you said... just a bad skining think.. I'll model it back right.

And the black dot is something I noticed a while ago but.. I'll just edit the thing in photoshop after.

Here's an update. I took the flower petals idea from a demo I saw on cgtalk.. cant remember who's demo it was (if someyone remembers it... tell me please!)

The wall is pretty ugly but.. I'm thinking of just having a black background... I'll have to try it.
