This sounds pretty cool, no real info on it yet, other than it will have a style like Wind walker, but sounds promising.

Is this the Four Swords sequel Nintendo mentioned a while back, or a whole new adventure game?

That's awesome. With Zelda, New Mario Bros., Secret of Mana and all the other games, the DS pretty much has every game I wished for it to have. :applause:

Edit: Since it's called "Zelda DS: Phantom Hourglass", I'd guess it's a new story.

huh... I feel the same way. DS is drawing me in.

Hell, Windwaker is why i picked up a Game Cube, and later for double dash :D

But yeah, this one looks prety sweet. I like the idea of drawing where your boomerang goes.

Not exactly cheep yet, but not unreasonable either.

Wow,
Pretty sweet for the looking for the DS, really like the look of this so far, think if the stylus bits are as fun ad they look, it should be an ace game.

I was already going to get one for Phoenix Wright. Now they have to go and do this. I love you, Nintendo.

WOW! ! ! That was gorgeous. I loved the windwaker look with the more 3D view of the top down style of 1 & 3. I loved when it showed the player drawing the direction of the boomerange with the stylist!

I like that they brought back the "A Link to the Past" music!

This is going to sell a crapload of DS-Lites, and when Zelda for Revolution comes out, complete with the new controller setup, it will sell a crapload of Revolutions. Nice move Nintendo. Poised for a comeback.

At first I thought it was suicide for them to postpone Zelda (from Christmas '05) but now I must admit it was smart of them. I bet anything that Zelda: Twilight Princess will be a launch title/killer app capable of creating serious competition for PS3 and 360.

I don't even care what the game is about all they had to say was Zelda. I love nintendo...

I think this may be the the path nintendo choose to take the zelda games. Windwaker Style on the handhelds, and TP style on the console.

Now they just need to release those DS Lites over in Europe and I'll be buying one as soon as I can... And Phoneix attorney game... And probably other games that I have wanted to play for a while but never gotten around to :D

I love you, Nintendo.

Exactly what I said. Nintendo, you rock. You can do no wrong in my eyes. Pity we didn't see more of the outside world (I wonder how big they will be able to make it) but bringing the most beautiful visual style to the DS is a stroke of brilliance. Now I'm definitely buying a DS Lite.

I'll have to get me a DS lite when it gets here, Zelda looks cool, but is it just me or does it look more like a puzzle game than an adventure game?

Since when was Zelda not about solving puzzles in the spirit of grand adventure?

lets look back a bit shall we, back in the days when Link was made up of little pixels and the stereo midi-like music kept us on out journeys. with 2 new Zelda titles coming out, it helps looking back on past adventure to help us remember the good times we had playing these games...
