Hey I just rendered a pic in 3ds Max 5. I saved it as a .jpg but the quality turned out poor (even at full quality) and I heard that a .tif file would perserve the quality. So I also saved it as a .tif and when I uploaded it into my hosting account and tried to view the image on IE6 all it showed was the quicktime logo. So I downloaded the latest Quicktime software and it still didnt work. I asked other people and they saw the same thing. So I thought to myself maybe if I opened the .tif file in Photoshop and than saved it as a .jpg the quality would be much better. But when I tried to open it I got this error...(isnt the exact error)
"Photoshop could not parse the following TIF file from (location on my pc)."
What should I do in order to open it? BTW Im using Photoshop 7.
