I have a problem with my texture in maya 7 :sad:.
This is my texture http://img131.imageshack.us/img131/2410/boom2uvmaptest5129fe.jpg

I have made a tree, uvmapped it in unfold3d and when I choose that file as color it places my texture al wrong like this http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/3564/t12jw.jpg
and it shows the same when i render. It doesn't matter if i choose software, hardware or mental ray, it stays the same.

Also in my uv editor it looks like this http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/1525/t27al.jpg
When i click texture editor baking i get this http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/2781/t33wm.jpg
I found out that when I go in the uv editor to image > selected images and set it to
mesh | lambert3SG | file 3 instead of mesh | lambert3SG it's corrected in the uv editor as well as in the viewport and the model looks like this http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/6871/t45zi.jpg as it's supposed to be.

Unfortunally nothing changes when i render.
I don't know if I overlookes something in Maya or if it's my graphics card (XFX Geforce 6600 GT). I have tried different driver versions; no succes.
I hope I have explained it clear enough ;)

:banghead: :argh::banghead:
I'm so stupid!
I already got the answer. When creating the file node I needed to put is on "normal" instead of "as projection". :surprised
Soo, problem solved!
