I think that the problem is the ATI drivers that they don't work too fine with XSI. I've got XSI 3 on a Athlon XP 2000+ 512 Mb. DIMM RAM and an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro 128Mb. but with Win2000 Profesional and the last drivers for the graphics card I can work in XSI only for about 10 minutes, before all the system crash.
Yesteray I've formatted my Hard disk and I've installed WinXP professional, XSI 3 and not the ATI driver: all worked very fine, It's some slow and my monitor is going to 60 Hertz:D, but at least It's work.
Today I try to install the last ATI driver for XP but I'm not too optimist.
I write you more in the next days.
i've insytalled the last ati drivers and it's worse
maybe i need to tweak a little the settings in the opengl tab of the control panel ..
but it worked better with the rc3 release of the drivers ..
without all the tabs in the control panel . .
i'll let u know when i got the right settings ..

the ATI Radeon is not certified by Softimage. I had it once too and it is terrible to work with XSI, almost impossible. No other card made so many problems with XSI.

You're wrong, raffael3d.
Yes, the ATI Radeon is not certified by Softimage, but now, I've got a PC Athlon XP 2000+ with 512mb. Ram and my radeon 9000 PRO 128Mb. and with Windows XP professional version 2002 and the last Ati driver for my card XSI 3 is very very very fast and very very stabile.
Before , with Win 2000 pro and a Celeron 633, to work in XSI was terrible! :thumbsdow But now no.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Good Cristmas and happy new year to everybody.

But, what's your operative system, and the drivers are the right drivers for it? Because in win XP professional and the driver in this link ATIdriver (http://mirror.ati.com/support/drivers/winxp/radeonnowdm-xp.html), my radeon 9000 pro works very fine.

Ah, I'm not installed the ATI Control pannel for your information, but only the drivers.
I hope this help you.

camara clipping???
i don't know uber alot of xsi
and i have the brand new 9500pro, which is a new chip set..
its hard to believe that they don't have a driver for xsi and crap out there, considering that this card is there flag ship card
