View Full Version : encoding Windows Media Video 9 format ?

Hi Guys,

doese anyone know what i have to instal so i can encode files in compostion directly into the
"Windows Media Video 9" (wmv) format?

So far I know, you have to install Autodesk Cleaner. With that software it is possible to submit encoding and render jobs through backburner. But encoding to streaming formats is not a typical task for a compositing application. If you need a web format, try quicktime streaming out of combustion. I prefer to encode formats like wm9 in applications like squeeze or cleaner.
The quality of the encoded video will be much better because the apps support things like two pass encoding. Hope that helps.
