Hi folks, this is my first digital painting with tablet (Graphire2) so I want to know what you think...,
It is about several army scouts not really Native americans but their blood is mixed so they are more renegades than soldiers..so any critic is welcome!!

For me, it's a bit saturate and contrasted on the whole canvas...
So, I have some difficulties to read your image...
Maybe you have to choose a point of convergence for the spectator and have less contrast on the rest?
Hope you understand my poor english.
Please, bring us an update to comment, if you have time.

Thanks for your comments!
I'm bit busy at the work so I've been not working so much on this as I want. Here is the last version of this image. Some background added and change of face expresion on one of characters...so not much..thanks!

Hope you're enjoying your tablet!
With the background, the image begins to make more sense. I agree with arnocob about the colours... personally I'm awful with initial colour schemes...and composition!.. but that's the beautiful thing about working digitally (and on seperate layers for different elements) - its so easy to change things.
While the scene depicts a certain level of intimacy between the characters I'm still left feeling a little ignorant about whats going on, & a little frustrated at only being able to see the back of that one guys head - especially as he is kind of the focal point... It prevents me from feeling involved in the scene... hope this is helpful - look forward to seeing how it develops.
