Bane,
Sniper Rifles are traditionally known to have long thick barrels. If you were not wanting to make it that way, its cool. Its hard to critique something that is make-believe. But I like the design you have there. You could quite easily just keep it the way it is, and then maybe do some good texturing.
Good Luck,
Lu
Great design! I have one crit though - the grip seems to thin to hold or the trigger is placed wrong. Should be in front of the grip.

For me it is definetly to shotr for a sniper, looks more like an asult rifle, but it dosen't change that it is a good piece of work.

i think it needs a butt...........something to handle the powerful recoil of a sniper rifle, or even an assault rifle. it could also use a some sort of a muzzle break
great design though.......can't wait to see it finished

it needs a buttstock
The cylanders are kinda like a tripod, for lying close to the ground and shooting, the barrel dosent break because that cartrage thing on the back is ammo. I dont quit get what pit is saying, but the trigger does need work, Ill get to that.
For the part of a stock, well I was kinda thinking of how cool a cutoff shotgun looks, granted it dosent make much sense, but I dont see how I could add one to the design and keep it looking good.
heres it with some simple mats.
