View Full Version : First digital self-portrait

This my very first try at a digital painting of myself. I've done several drawings of myself but never in color or on the computer. I used a photo I took myself for reference. This took about 3.5 hours using Photoshop and a Wacom tablet. I would love any crit or comments.

Hello
One thing i think you could improve is that the white spot on the eyes, that shine, should be in the same direction. Otherwise ot looks your looking diferent places, each eye to one thing.

joaoCaetano- thanks. I took a min and fixed the highlight. I think it looks better now.

Yes its better now, now your eyes seam normal (dont get me wrong) the light seems equal on the eyes. :)

Here's a little update. I did a little more work on the torso. My teacher wanted me to try and make it look a little more painterly and also have some horizontal movement.
