This is as far as I could get before having to hand in the project, but I'd like to work on it more during my winter break... Used the tranlucency shader on the lamps and Shoji doors; kind of got it to do what I wanted... Its super clean right now, which is one thing I plan on fixing...

- Programs used: 3D Studio Max 5 and Photoshop 7
- The cameras are at different seats around the table
- A little under 100,000 polys at the moment
- Everything is to scale (1 max unit = 1")

Overall, I really dig it.

I'd say the lighting is too dark, and perhaps could benefit from some Radiosity effects, even if you have to fake them. You have alot of right angles and flat surfaces that would really benefit from better shading and shadows.

The light color could be warmed up too. Oranges and yellows might be nice.

Look forward to seeing your updates.

Same as above.
I'm not a master of asian culture, even if I like all that is asiatic, but I think some cadles would be great and make this room more warm. Yup', I think it just need a bit of life, as all the windows are semi-opaque we can see no natural background, so I think a bit of life would be good.
