Nice job so far! a few things,
-would like to see a wireframe
-need to define and make more muscular the upper and lower arms
-hands need to be a bit larger!

that's very reassuring because the arms are the main area I haven't really touched! So I take it that you don't really have any major crits with the head?

a thing on the head...didn't look over it too extensively, but i believe it is a bit to flat on the sides, i would "poof" it out a little more, like he has bones there. other than that, looks great
