dragonz 12-20-2002, 05:06 PM Yo, i got some modeling completed on a few charactures i am working on, but the problem i am having, i have never been to good at working w/ uv texturing, and i would like to know more about it! what is an easy way to start (from a beginers standpoint to help more than just me out here!) does any one have any tuts that they would like to post? anything would help!

Maybe there were some discussions in this forum, but I don't remember and someone else would tell you.
Ok, here is a good tool for uv mapping:http://www.uvmapper.com/
In this site, you can find nice tutorials on uv mapping.
Of course if you have or get BodyPaint 3D, it includes lots of tutorials and you can learn many with practice.
Also, in "Handbook of CINEMA 4DXL" by A. Watkins, Chap.9 describes some techniques of uv mapping and Chap.15 shows uv mapping even without any uv editor.
