Hi guys, I'm planning to animate some Tshirt with MD on my actual prod. Just did a very quick test and I'm happy with the result. here:
Preview (http://mapage.noos.fr/facial2/Comp2.avi)
It's 30-45mn tweaking

tell me what you think.

Cool , try some more hi res model ... or u going to use Mike technique ?
Also u can start MD from minus 30 frames
to avoid juggling in the beginning of animation.

Hi Eugeny,

I've tried to Shift D my t shirt and the results are excellent but preview is too long for me to compute.
I'm only going to hit tab to smooth the shirt, thats all :)

Wow yes, with pleasure :)
I guess the meshes might be a little heavy? (mean compared to mine ?)

Looks good, but still a bit too much like a heavy rubber sheet..
Might help to dampen the material some more...

Yep yep I know.
But I'm just trying to give a littlr life to it. Can't afford highly subdivided meshes.
Eugeny I'm doing some replacement MDD (Mike's method) and works great. Made a simple straight shirt for cloth sim, replaced with one (same numbers of polys (I know I can increase) with some wrinkles. :)

One thing that many ppl forget is that all materials must have friction.. If the deformed object has it but not the deformer, the friction will not work.

Infinity check here:

Thanx a lot Tudor, I'll have a look at them. And yes the friction, should check about that. What I "found" is that the skin thickness should be set to the deformer too, very important to prevent penetration....

Hey thanks.. i haven't messed with motion designer at all.. I have been really scared to start using it, because i know that i would be up for 4-5 days without sleep or food trying to figure it out...
