Robin Konieczny and Matt Westrup are the two halves that make up a whole Asylum. Aside from extensive work they've done for themselves, they are also prolific modellers and animators for Passion Pictures. We have a chat with them about their workflow, what plug-ins they use and how they came to work with one of London's foremost studios...

Read our interview with them here: http://www.newtek-europe.com/uk/community/asylum/asylum_1.html

It's cool isn't it? Make sure you check out Matt's missiles piece (the second anim on the page) - that's the one he's talking about with hypervoxel explosions, they really do look superb!

oO sweet!
you know you just cut off alot of time from my typing... lol

i just got the gorillaz dvd (a few dayz ago) and it's hella sweet :)
specially the live concert footage (if you put it on angle 6, you'll see the whole song in 3d, instead of it with the crowd) and i was gonna type about it... but eh, i figured someone would at one point or another (and to think that i was just about to talk about the south park box set)
