Short Film - The Begining

I had some time to do some crappy storyboarding, but it should prove to be useful in trying to show you what I want to see.

Note: There was another thread for this but it's name was the name of another currently active topic, so I made a new thread with the title being more appropriate.

What Is It?: An entirely CG film based off the first anbd second chapter of Genises, but the priority is the first chapter right now.

Description: My version of the first and second chapter of Genisis will be EXACTLY like the bible says it is. However, my short entirely CG film will start with the creation of the universe, not earth. It will start with the universe being created and the planets and solar systems and galaxies being created, And then Earth. It will be exactly like the bible, and their will be no MAN-MADE idea's put in. I want an accurate patryal of what really happened.

I wrote the script for this a long, long, time ago. About a year ago. I have decided that I want to see it worked on. I love God, and anything I can do to up-lift his name is my delight.

The film I would guess wouldn't be longer than 5-6 minutes.


What do you get out of it?: You get FULL credit on the website and in the movie credits. Also, you get the enjoyment of doing something for God, and you'll be able to use it in your resume's. Not to mention it will give you some more experiance. It will definitvely be a fun time.


Artists----------
I know there are alot of wonderful tallented artists who would like to contribute to this project. It is a free project and it would be done in your spare time, so if you would like to join this project which is open to everyone, please do, I would need story board artists, animators, modelers and texture artists.

Director---------
I would be directing the film and all the work will be overlooked by me.

Results

The results we achieve must be very near to realistic. I know it may be a lot to ask for... It will be mainly in space, so it shouldn't be to hard.

You cannot have it both ways, either it is "EXACTLY like the bible says" or not. According to the Bible the earth was created first, followed by the creation of the sun, the moon and stars.

I hope your not saying that God created everyhting else after Earth?! We know for a fact that God created the universe first, he created the galaxies first, he created the stars and other planets first, and than the rebbelion in heaven happened, and then God created earth, than the moon and sun.

He had to create the solar system before earth, he had to create the galaxy before the solar system, he had to create the universe before the galaxies.

Maybe you miss-understood what I said before. Plus, the bible says "And he created the HEAVENS and the earth. Notice that heavens comes before earth.

There is no way God created Earth before the universe, no way...... I am simply potrying the GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS and than followed by GOD CREATED THE EARTH. Exactly as the BIBLE says.

Did you not also start that hours long Star Wars movie collaboration, and one about a woman who had visions or something? I was wondering how the vision one ended, did you finish it? It kind of worries me that this is your third collaboration start up in a year already.

the problem with the Star Wars film was that no one did what they were supposed to do, and only one guy actually did anything on the second project. I decided to do a short 6 minute film.

And I'm not starting with my left foot, it is a fact that you have to have a universe before a planet, why do you think their are no universes with planets and stars outside their galaxies.

All I want is a fun project with a few people to help. I'm not asking for much, just a couple of people to make some CG scenes of galxies and earth being created.

Hey hey hey come on folks. Please, we actually do not allow any kind of discussion on religion on this forum. It's okay if you're creating a short film that has religious significance, but please note that CGTalk is not a place for religious debates/discussions or any such conversation. So please guys, let's keep this thread focused purely on the technicalities of the art involved, as opposed to the technicalities of the subject matter itself. If the discussion continues in that vein, I am afraid that this thread may be closed.

yeah, you are right, leigh,
but if you want to work with someone on a project you probably want to stand behind it.
But you can't stand behind it if you even don't know what your project is about -
why you work on these things.
I think it's worth a discussion as it seems that matt didn't express his ideas the right way,
because otherways there wouldn't occur so much questions.
