View Full Version : I want NO antialiasing! help.

i cant have antialiasing to not blend nothing.. like.. i put the background blue.. and disable all thingies in antialiasing and render it.. when i zoomit i see some pixels near to the model a little bluish, it cant be like this for what i whant.. for a game, the values have to be or full black ou full white, and in the alpha channel it shows some grays. can u guys help?

I've never notice that before, I used to think that the result is pure black and white :p

I am doing a game job also, but that won't cause any problem so far, like, if you wanna do a translucent effect, gray in the channel is a require.

yes junkie i know but we do not have transparency yet, so if the pixel shows a bit.. it will it all, no things like 50% transparency:(
but now it fine thanks to mandrak'es tip:)

yea, its because maya premultiplys by default(most compositors work with premult by default). Changing that composite mode makes it unpremultiplied. Also if your doing any paintfx, they antialias no matter what setting you have in the globals, so you need to turn that off in the paintfx menu.
