Hi,

This is my third project in 3D. During my sping break, I decided to build a 3D model, and push my knowledge a bit further. I want to experiment rigging, texturing, normal maps, Zbrush, and etc...

Here's my concept sketch:

Mitch is one lazy alligator. He has been "working" in this zoo for 15 years, and now he's just tired of it. So he justs slack off, and he doesn't care about the visitors.

I don't want a lot of details on this model ; it isn't the point. I want to recreate this scene, and as you can see, the alligator there isn't the most realistic. Of course, I will try to make some scales and things like that.

Keep in mind, this is my first High Polygon model too. So I'm learning as I go.

I began working on the head yesterday, and this is the result :

Today, I worked on the body (without the tail).

My first question is the following : I'm currently working on the tail of Mitch, but what would be the best way to model his "spline"?

I love where you're going with the style on this! Keep it up, and I look forward to seeing more.
