View Full Version : flour sack rig

I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for rigging a flour sack.
Im looking to get a lot of deformation out of it and am not really sure how to rig it and get creases as it bends.
If anyone could help that would be great.
Thanks a lot.

I suggest you create eight bones first four created from the center of the sack with the child bones stretching out to each corner of the sack.
Skin the bones to your sack and then animate the bones. you can get creases through your skin weights.

Thanks a lot for that.
The only thing is that I wanted t get a lot of deformation on the sack, so i was going to use deformers to get a lot of squash and stretch. I was just wondering how this would affect the joints if i were to use them
How about just using a lattus. Or bind the lattus to set of bones for the main poses and then animate the lattus as needed.
