I'm in the paint effects panel, I get a brush (fern.mel). The editable colors are shown in the toolbar Tubes per step, Color 2, Transparency 2, Leaf Color 1, etc.. My problem is this toolbar, it doesn't display the remaining editable color options. I can tear off the panel then expand it a bit more to get it to show the next editable color, but that doesn't really help. Is there a way to get the Maya toolbar to display all the editable colors within the alloted toolbar space? I know I have all the options in Edit Template Brush, but navigating complex brushes just for specific color editing options is a pain.

Any Ideas?,

I'm afraid you can't get at those widgets short of increasing the view width or editing the template brush. This is probably not a task for a super noob, but it is possible to write a mel script that creates a window containing only the desired template brush widgets. Or one could also edit the mel script for the toolbar, perhaps putting the widgets into a scroll layout.

I'll look into mel scripting, thanks :)
