View Full Version : Animation bug - video evidence
Taoizm 12-19-2002, 03:48 PM Well, it's come up again multiple times in the past few days. so I figured I'd do a capture to show what's happening. Unfortunatly it's random so I can't make a good claim to Discreet other than I now have video evidence of the occurance. :)
Take a peek, and if you have any solutions (I hope) let me know.

@sebek : Camedia's new version lets you convert to SWF.
@KiboOst : I wish that was the case. As you can see though neither of the animation buttons are turned on.

a coworker had the same problem, and not only with the camera.
basically any change he made got animated.
so for instance if he changed the opacity amount of a material, the amount got animated over time. same with modifier parameters.
YOU name it, IT got animated.
I'll ask him to see if he knows how he fixed it, cause I haven't heard him about it for a while [that is . . . IF he fixed it]

If it happens, try switching on auto key & then switch it straight back off again, then you should be able to do stuff without keys being created...

That's how I usually fix it. Although like EQ said it pops up at the worst times. If the bug is active anything that can be animated is affected. The worst is accidently animating a material or mod setting.
