View Full Version : Extrude Edge Disappearing Manipulator

sorry for the surely simple questions but....

I'm working with some polygonal modeling and am extruding edges(using the Extrude Edgeaction). However, when it is extruding, I'm getting the new edge sitting right at the same spot as the old edge. I can pull this new edge away, but I have to switch to the Move Tool.

The problem is, why am I not getting the Extrude Edge manipulator? The manual says that when the Extrude Edge is activated, the manipulator will immediately display, but it is not....any ideas?

you have to click polyextrudeedge# input on the channel box then use manipulator tool :)

You could also try going to Modify - Transformation Tools - Show Manipulator Tool. It should show up automatically, as you mentioned, but maybe it's turned off and needs to be reset. Just a thought.
