hello
in 3dsmax there is a material called matte/shadow
it is used to :
for instance I have got a photographe (a table) and I would like to incorporate a 3d element into it , so what I do is I create a cube positonned it so it match the table . I then apply the matte/shadow material to it ,so it doesn`t render the cube and only cast the shadow of the 3d element,
well my question is how can I do that in maya ?
please help me this is doing my head in !!!!!! ):
