Yay, Manu! Good to see you here, and with plenty of time left to go! Looking forward to seeing another new work of yours...

And funny, no matter how many times I jump on a new thread, there's always a post from Squibbit here before I post... Do you even sleep, man?!?

Anyhow, glad you could make it, Manu. Hope you'll post something soon. :)

So here we go. After several "should I stay or should I go ?", here's a little drawing. The journey begins, but what is the goal, where do I have to go ?

In a few words (I hope so), here's the story :
It's around midnight. Cassandre and Rebecca, while they were quietly sleeping, are woken up by a strange sound. They jump out their bed an go to the living room. What a surprise... (Okay, I can hear some of you laughing !!! This is not what you think !).

The doors and windows are wide open. The TV is on. Father and mother are standing like couch potatoes on the sofa, and they are sleeping... The light is strange and the two sisters can see faeries and korrigans dancing all around. In the sky is tanding a huge flying rock with a castle on its top.

To be continued.

Great to see you here again! Like the sound of the story, and looking forward to seeing how your convert into a picture about a journey. And of course what must be trademark spacesnail... the moon! I shall certainly be popping back to catch up on updates.

Zephyri: hello Mam'zelle ! Good luck to you too.
anzibon : Hi ! I'm glad you appreciate my M&S pic.
domclubb : thanks !!
Arc80 : well... errrr...About the wallpaper... may I say I lost your email ? Errr... no, not a good excuse... let's try something new.... Hey look over there !!! A flying pig !!!
Beelow : Yawwwnnn ! What time is it ? Damn... There's only 50 days before the end !!! I won't finish in time !!! Ha Ha Ha

Thanks buddies for dropping by :bounce:

No sketch this time, only words about the story :
I keep the flying rock + castle BUT there will only be Cassandre (7 year old girl) standing behind a window. She's drawing some portal or way that suits shadows, trees, clouds and is going towards the castle. The whole effects will stand on reflections (like a Pepper's Ghost device, if you see what I mean).

Cheers and have inspiration, no handache and much fun !!!

Oh those wormholes !!! They make you lose track of time. Only 29 days to go.
As you can see, I've changed the scene (and story) for something more funny...

Cheers

That's a cute idea, Manu, I like it. Will you have time to try out more sketches of the same theme? I think the image might be enhanced by some more dramatic camera angles of the same scene... and I think of you as the king of dramatic camera angles, so that shouldn't be too hard! :D
