Hi there,

I'm new to this forum, but it's been recommended so hopefully someone will be able to help me out.

I'm modelling a character (a powerpuff girl to be honest :p)
and I'm trying to put 2 eyes on a head. I figured I'd just do it using a texture since it seemed the best way to go.

I'm just having some weird problems. I have a base skin material and an eye material. But they're reacting strangely, even though there's no lights [see attached pic]. With some mapping the the eye just doesn't show up at all on the object. It's very confusing.

The c4d file & render is here:

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

- Kevin

Make sure you have an alpha map on youe eye texture.Flat texture projection would probably work best for what your doing too. Be sure to place the eye texture after the skin teture on the sphere.
