hehe, just another head :rolleyes:

just looking for crits, if ive got any big errors and just some basic motivation to get me moving, i started this this morning (strange sentance), its padme btw ;) and eventually i wish to recreate one of her dresses and texture her, then animation... they all said to set your goals high, so i did :D

LOL :D high goals are good :) actually, i prefer setting them high as well, makes it easier to get better fast ;) .. anyhow, for the C&C, well, i think it looks ok so far :thumbsup: make some more and i'll get back!! :) *peace*

Well, the only "errors" I can see are the two >4 point polygons. One beside the mouth and one beside the eye. Neither of those will "sub-patch".

Other than that, I can see there being a problem with the three edges running closely down the side of the face, you are almost certainly going to get a ridge running through there. Whenever possible, try to keep your patches approximately the same size in that cheek/jaw area. It'll be much smoother and easier to animate when you get to that stage.

k its moving forward (yay for that!) but there some funky things going on above the eye and at the back of the head, and im unsure how it will react with animation.

so lay that lw expertise on me yo~

You have points that need to be merged in those spots, select the point in a wireframe view and look to see how many you have selected. If its >1 then just hit crtl-w

Mike they werent two points, but 2 point polys, i cleaned up the mesh and mapped a photo to her head to see show how she look so far. not too shabby for 2 days work for me :scream:
