I think that this would be hard to tell from a photo if Background DOF was removed. Right now it seems to make it look miniture in a way. But this is impressive!

Heh, Nice to see you on CGtalk Luc, I know most of your work from terragen gallery, impressive.
Very nice image, the only problem is with the Depth of Fied, like Amplified said... it's a tricky thing with environments, if you use DOF on a landscape it looks like a miniature.
But still, a nice realistic environment.
Damn, I wish I can get my hand on Terragen2 >:)

Another amazing image from Luc Bianco...I wouldn't expect anything less :D Outstanding work on the texturing and lighting for the scene, and I personally think the DOF looks great for this image. I vote 5 stars, simply amazing!

Any word on when the Terragen 2 preview will come out? I can't wait to get my hands on it! :D

Hi Luc,

As already said, it's cool to see U on cgtalk. I'm indeed happy to have the opportunity to tell U some words. So, thanks for all those beautiful pictures U've created, I just can't stop being amazed (especially the wonderful water work U did on the iceberg picture). I think U won't be much disapointed if I propose to anyone who is interesting in landscapes to visit your homepage. See there guys ---> http://perso.wanadoo.fr/bianco/

Keep the dream up please ... Et merci encore
