Hello everyone...While I was working on a head model in to my laptop everything was working perfectly. My machine works on Linux FC4 and has Nvidia Go 420 32M i dont know if that matters :)

http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=317859

Today I 've tried to load the scene into another laptop with Windows and Ati Mobility Radeon X600 128M. The problem is that geometry is changed as shown in the following image.

I have also tried to use dotXSI export/import. The geometry is not affected this time but the symmetrised eye of the model is translated in to the Z axis and generally mispositioned. I forgot to mention that I am using in both machines Softimage XSI 4.2 advanced.

Another attemt that i did was to load the scene in to XSI 5 but the problem is still the same. :(

Any ideas how can i solve this?

- Try freezing the head, saving the scene and then loading it into the other computer.

well it works which i dont understand why... is the XSI application store data about my scene? for me which i have some basic skill on programming sound strange...

anyway this is solved but something else appeared ...now i cant render with hair....I have a layer with all the hair...when i enable the rendering of the components of this layer and apply rendering the XSI crashes (but recovers LOL). This probably happens because of the ATI compatibilty with Nvidia or something...
