CGTalk - Need Some Help

Hello everyone. Im pretty new to all this. Im making a cell phone model and wanted to now how would i go about modeling the part outlined in red. Ive tried adding points and edge cuts but it seems to make the mesh really messy and confusing. thx for any help.

loft the shape from some splines, it wouldnt be advisable to make it as the same object as the main blue bit...
