CGTalk - Net Rendering

I am attempting to start a net render and so far I have had no luck. I am using Max r5 and have everything pretty much set up and ready to go. Servers are registering to the manger and the monitor is connecting. But when I send out the Job I get this error back everytime.

ERR: Task error: Unknown renderer error (initializing renderer)

Any thoughts? thanks in advance.. oh yeah I am running xp pro

Couple of things to check.

1) that all the save paths are network addresses and not local machines.

2) make sure all rendere boxes have the same plugin setup. (renderers, etc..)

3) If you're running a personal firewall make sure that the manager and servers have full permissions on the network.

Hope maybe one of those helps.

Try turning XP built-in firewall off - it's on by default.
