Hi guys,

Hope someone can help me with this…
I can't figure out how to make the "Instance_UP" object starts only at frame 30 in this file:
http://www.tetsoo.com/test/construct.c4d

Thanks for your time.

Hi,

Try this : - select "instance_Up", right click on the object manager -> "current state to object" then disable 'instance_UP" in the viewport.
- open the timeline and copy/paste all the keys to the new object and slide the keys to frame 30

Sorry for my english... It is understandable ?

Enable the Position for Record, and set a key to frame 30, then move your object (the instance object) and place another key to whatever frame you'd like.

I misread your post.
You can't make that instance start the animation later. It's an instance, so it will copy the original object in all aspects (shape, color, and also animation). You'll need to edit the instance and copy the keyframes on it, then offset the keyframes.

Thanks for your answers ombr / flufouille.

"You'll need to edit the instance and copy the keyframes on it, then offset the keyframes."

That's just what I hoped to avoid, as I have something like 100 copies of this objects...

Anyway, if there's no other solution.

Thanks again.
