I'm moving across country in a week so I probably won't finish, but I'm going push as much of this level out as I can. Here's what I've concepted out so far of a Mine (w/ placeholder textures)

Just like to say i really like the atmosphere here. Would be interested to see some wires and textures sheets.

Looks like crap! Yep all crap, cant you come up with something cool for a change? haha
Are those the same rock props you used on the other cave you made? So far your using those 5 textures very well. It looks good but its what id expect from you. Turn off AA the psp cant do AA and its more fun to see it how it would look in game.
Oh and work faster!

Thanks guy, I'll see how much more I can get done before I have to pack up my PC. Also noticed that image is a little dark. I'll brighten up the next batch.

worked on the mine car riding section of the level last night, and mostly nailed down the design.

i like the glowing water, looks good, as if there light coming through it, nice way to light the scene.

this looks great - it reminds me of the Gold mine level in Timesplitters 2-
what did you use for the water vapour above the waterfall?

Wrapping this up as quickly as possible. From here:
linking all areas together (almost done),
getting final poly budget together (lucky I'm still under budget),
and then I'll do a final pass texturing/lighting.
I have 2 days before movers get here, and I still have other things to take care of with the moving process.
Here are two more rooms:
the Mine Hub (end of the rail line, links up with other areas of the mine, lighting here is weak as I'm still working on that.)
Pirate Treasure room (finale area)

The movers are coming a day early. I have to pack up the computer now. Here's a pic of the whole level. It's pretty much complete sans the textures.
Depending on when the movers show up with my stuff in Viriginia, I may get back to this in time.

Your level looks o-so amazing! I am really liking the lighting effects;
as it really makes the atmosphere great.

My computer didn't survive the move for the most part. I bought a new PC today, but I'm not going to finish this for the comp. I didn't expect to finish anyway, it was just something to do before I moved. My programmer has the level running in Ogre 3d engine, but since the screenshots look exact the same as what I already posted, I probably won't post any where. I may get a chance to finish it off for our little game we're putting together.
