Title: Landscape
Name: Ionel Stoica

Do you like landscapes? I need your opinions to find out if I will have to upload more works or not! For all my pictures I'm using Terragen and sometimes Photoshop for postworks!

Comments are most welcome!

This is awesome! Great job!

I've always wondered, is it possible to somehow import terragen-landscape to Max as a mesh? Terragen is definately one of the best ways to create landscape!

Really good realism! In fact it makes me want a wireframe of this so that I can see what you did in 3D. Could you post a wire? Thanks

It's not bad, but it's a typical Terragen render. This isn't something I haven't seen hundreds of times before.

Hei på deg :-)
Fullt mulig.

It's possible to use Terragen terrains in Max, you either export a .bmp from terragen and use it as a distortion map, or you can use the dreamscape plugin.
I don't recommend using the .obj export, as it creates humongous wires

Nice work- good level of photorealism.

Could you explain what postwork you did in photoshop, cos my terragen renders never look quite right, and i could use the advice.

Thx

Try this http://www.darkmoon3d.com/tg-max/ to import Terragen scene into Max.
