View Full Version : my skin explodes O_O

Hello people ^_^

I am having a hard time setting up some deformers for my skin. I am using Judd's cgMuscle to create a muscle system for my character, but I am getting weird results when the muscles expand. Look at the images for more info:

This is how the skin + muscles look like

This is what I get after bending at the elbow. It seems that the expanding muscle goes through the skin making it "explode".

After making the muscles expand a little less, I get rid of some of the effect, but not enough to get a "smooth" deformation.

Well, I figured out what the error was... however I am not able to fix it _

The problem is caused by overlaping deformers. The vertices are affected by more than one deformer and that causes the problem. I combined all the muscles in one single mesh (keeping history on, obviously) and then I created the deformer set again... The skin "exploding" reduced greatly but I still get some...

How in autodesk's (devil's) name can I deal with those??? :cry:
