I own Bodypaint 1 and I have all but given up on it. I don't think Maxon could have made it more difficult. Yes I am frustrated.

Now is there and software that is relatively simple to use and does a good job of unwrapping a model?

What have you found works for you and works well?

You may want to try the demo for Hexagon 2 when it comes out in April. It does UV unwrapping. See http://www.eovia.com

Why not import your model in Blender? It has a fairly advanced UV LCSM function and before the end of this month the next release will include a ABF++ unwrapping method.
