A clan of faeries in a huge flower field about to embark on a journey but one doesn't want to go... or perhaps is too lazy or too much of a daydreamer to get a good start. I haven't decided yet.

It might be cool if one of them was starting to walk or fly away and beckoning the other. That might give the piece more motion and really drill home the idea of taking off on a journy.

Just defining the same idea a little more and incorporating the suggestion given. It's a big flower field, lots of painting with this one!

I thought I'd like to try an old style or an old look for the faeries. I don't know if I can pull it off but here's a very rough idea of the style I'd like to finish the painting in.

just an idea about the faerie you painted, if you make her look somewhere else i think it would be better. in other words tell her not to look at the camera :)

I guess it's hard to tell but she's looking down at the other faerie - or supposed to be. It looks like I'll have to make that more clear!
