Hey guys,

I have to create a close up shot in slomo of a golf ball falling into a pond. It needs to look 100% realistic. Projects in the past showed me that Real Flow is a good solution for that sort of realistic water splash simulation.
My question is, how do I get a seamless flow between a flat water surface which starts a ring wave when the ball hits the surface (realwave object) and a realflow particle container (the ball falls into) which creates the nice splashes coming out of the water surface. RWParticleInteraction is not doing it good enough.

Thanks for any sort of help and inspiration

Try this:
1. Export your raw animation to RF in sd format
2. Fill a pond with water in realflow in a locked state. Animation will be halted during simulation
3. Let it stabilize
4. Set it as initial state
5. Drop you ball (whatever)

One problem though. It will take too damn long. :D
