Hi people! Long time since i was active at this forum. A mate told me about the new challenge, and i decided to join. A friend of mine is lending me a Wacom Intuos Board, and allready after finishing the concept sketch, i've decided to buy me one:)
About the sketch: Ive been thinking about making all kind of weather types, snow, autumn, spring and summer and try to make them fade into another. The boy on the kangaroo is traveling to find his way home to his family:)
Ill keep you updated as often as i can, with new ideas and coloring WIP. Hope you'll enjoy my work

Hi Kjartan,
welcome to the challenge. Your sketch has now already a good atmosphere and I like the way how the Kaenguru looks.
Much luck and have fun.
Ciao,
Ravena

Have started coloring, still wondering how i can fresh up the horizontal / background. Please, feel free to give me some ideas about the background! Will do a lot of coloring this weekend, so there will be another coloring wip coming around soon!

some coloring wip
Yo! this is coming along nicely. Love you'r detail on the moss/grass. That kid on the back of the kenguru reminds me of "Karius&Baktius" hehe. Any plans for what you should have in the distant landscapes? how about just showing alot of treetops (that is the leaves), and perhaps a clearing somewhere with some stones or something?
Keep it up!

Thanks mate! Love your idea for treetops, like in a birds perspective for the kid. Maybe ill try to create a path between the tree's as well, and some other stuff to sprite the concept up:)
