Hi, I am working on a match move using Boujou.

I hear we’d better to input something numbers which are provided by camera in order to get an accurate result of match moving. Specially, I have a problem with 90 degrees turning-around shot now.

I believe one of important numbers is a focal length of camera.

However, how/what do I get the number for it? Should it be the focal length of a lens which is fixed or other variable number? Does a zoom influence the focal length?

? Focal length = lens thickness * zoom ?

Do we have any significant numbers to input to software?

Thanks

Thanks, beaker
I wanted to reply after re-taking tests, but a production process has been changed, and I am doing different stuff. Anyway, I guess I probably understand how focal length should work.
I will write some again later.
