Hi everybody,

Iv'e been occasionally having this problem with biped where certain keys can't be moved in the track view, It's like they're locked in one position in time.
It makes it a complete pain in the arse to adjust the timming of your animation as I have to copy the pose, delete the "evil" key then paste the pose back in at the new time position:D .
Should I just list this in my brain as another Biped Challenge..

Hiya.

What version of Max and Character Studio do you have? OS?

I've never encountered that problem. The two things you can't do is move the footstep back into "negative time", and you can't overlap footsteps on the same track.

Maybe there is some sort of "freeze" going on that you are only doing sometimes? Can you move the "foot" in the Perspective view, even if you can't move it in the track view? If not, then you might have "locked" the footstep in place. Not sure if this is it or not (Figure Mode --> Keyframeing --> Anchor Left/Right Leg) ?

I'm still getting the hang of CS myself. :)
