good image, someone posted a link to it on IRC. the only thing that bothers me is that the water isnt creating any caustics on the boat or the building. it makes the image appear to be composited raher than rendered at once. just some nit-picking. sorry :shrug:

I was the one who posted the link Array. Great pic, it's a pleasure to see great pics made with a software that only a couple years ago was considered less than bryce ;)

Superb !!!
I would just try to correct some minor artifacts on the water surface.
You really catched the feeling ob "being" in Venezia with this picture.

Good job. Are you sure it's Venezia? In Portuguese itīs Veneza, i don't really know it in italian.

@Eklettica
thanks a lot :) :scream: :buttrock: :wavey:
Yeah PeXel!
Gooood work! :airguitar :buttrock:
Just few things I don't like:
The cracks in the wall aren't very realistic to me, especially the right one looks like it was drawn in a hurry.
And IMO there's a bit too much contrast in the picture. To my eyes, most shadows are too black (i.e. the gates are invisible in the shade, also the area below the ehm... "Gondel" is... ;) )
But without question, this is a great picture! :thumbsup:
Greetings,
XerC

xerc yep the crack in the wall isn't so good, i will improve this, and of course the lightning of the scene (photshoppern :)
but below the gondel there is all ok, just look into the c4d section here. there is a picture of the original image i worked with.
best regards
