Hello guys, im trying to get to grips with the gijoe mel script and im having a problems. I;ve got a couple of scenes i want to light using gijoe but i run into difficulty when trying to add some kind of sky to the scene. If i add a dome within the Gijoe dome that has some kinda of sky shader/texture the texture seems to be reflected onto objects within the scene. Am i going about adding sky the wrong way?

I would use mentelRay but its an animation and the render times would be too expensive.

Also is GIJoe an effective way to add light to an indoor scene such as a shop?

thanks in advance

I'm not quite sure what you're asking there, what's reflecting onto these objects? The GI Joe dome or the dome you created?

GI Joe is best suited for simple outdoor scenes.

Indoor lighting would not be a good way to light your scene and I personally wouldn't use it that way, unless you purposley want the sky to gently leak light into your scene. But there are much better ways to get that effect.
