Is it possible to set a keyboard shortcut for 'load path as selection' ?

Not much of a shortcut but if you ctrl-click a path thumbnail in the layers palette it should give you the corresponding selection

mlk

thanks for the reply....
but thats not exactly what i'm looking for;
your tip is good for making selection of whatever path are available on one path layer...

but i want to select one perticular path from many paths available on a single layer.

Go to Edit/Keyboard shortcuts and change 'shortcuts for:' to pallete menus. Find paths and apply shorhcut to 'Make selection'.
hope this helps

Edit: Sorry I just noticed orange text. This is not going to work for your request.

Only way I know would be: highlight path, select 'Path selection tool', click on wanted path and right click make selection. Not a shortcut though

ctrl + Enter is selecting all the paths including the non seceted paths, i want to select only one perticuler path...which is not happening.

BTW: i'm using Photoshop CS 2

Interesting problem. I've always separated my paths, so I've never had to deal with this situation. The best solution I could find was to record an Action and assign a shortcut to that. Works like a charm.
