Hi guys,
I'm depressed 'cause I'm fighting again versus max...
Yes, I'm trying to model a tree and some plant for an interior playground and I cannot find the way to achieve this...

How can I model a tree or plants in Max?
I've tried with geometry, but locate and organize many branchs and leaves is imposible if they're a lot... scatter is a dissaster to organize leaves and branches...

Note: no money available to afford plugins :annoyed:

Some ideas to help me to model a tree or a plant???

could try modeling the branches with renderable splines if your wanting alot of branches then jsut edit the trunk of the tree for realism

Here's a thought...stop trying to reinvent the wheel and use the multitude of meshes already out there or you could use something like XFrog to make it then import into Max.

Or, you could use this handy script:

BTW, it WILL rock your butt.

Take 3DZealot's advice. It's the easiest and fastest way to "model" a tree. (You Just have to click some buttons and your done!!)
