View Full Version : sleepy concept
winterhart 03-12-2006, 03:56 AM This is a sketch I did a while back, I am interested in getting smooth transitions (anatomy/texture) in multiple species creatures (see my gryphon post for previous efforts ;))
Anyways, thought I'd post things so far...

I have a problem with where the head meets the neck. How does this creature stand normally? Is the neck more vertical like say a flamingo or horizontal like a velociraptor?
If it's verticle then the neck is fine, but if the bird is more horizontal, or even diagonal, you'd see more of a puff up under its chin as the flesh there is squished together as he rears back to yawn.
