View Full Version : Simple Luxo Jr Style Rigging

Hey all, im having trouble, i have this charcter, see atached file, i would like to be able to make him wiggle his base but have his skeletal root there, kind of like when luxo jr jumps and his base wiggles but its like his foot when he lands. i don't know a way to do it simply. could anyone help please?

Add another joint below your root with four joints extending sideways from that. Now you can animate your foot and and parts of it seperately :). But you will need to detach your skin, rebuild your skeleton and reskin again. Apart from that there is only way of using a blendshape or the jiggle deformer to make your base wiggle (Itīs no joke, it really is called like that, hehe)
