Once upon a time there was a cow who dream to go to the neighbord field. The cow is persuaded that the grass is teastier there. Because the cow couldn't jump over the fence it decided to create a flying device built from scratch. The cow used everything that the farmer keeped in the barn and built it's machine. Now, the cow is ready for it's gastronomical journey. It is the day of departure. The cow say "so long!" to her sisters. The flying machine rumbling and puffing. Does the cow will take the air too meet the new field?

Perhaps you need to find a way to porttray the neighbouring field to illustrate that "the grass is always greener on the other side" :D

I work hard to find the good posture of my cow. It is not easy to image how a flying cow looks alike. Anyway, here it's a rainy day so i have the time to work on my sketches. So that's it for now.

OMG! I looove this! So light hearted and well composed. I adore the idea and your characterisation is splendid!! And your sketches are wonderful too, nice to see how people take different approaches. I can't wait to see more colour on this. The last composition is really great, gives an impression of weight and flying, which can be difficult to achieve, I think you've nailed it! And the goggles are a great touch!

ya know the old saying -- "if cows could fly".... well, i sure wouldn't want to be on the ground beneath THIS guy....:eek: really love your idea and design -- lotsa' fun, and very well sketched too! best of luck to you -- think this one will be very cool....

Interesting idea. I know, it is not the final version of the picture but I would like to suggest some things. Perhaps You should add some cows standing on the ground, and watching how their sister flies away - that could improve "The Journey Begins" feeling. I'm not quite sure about left(right from cow's POV) wing - it does not suit the perspective, unless it is not symetrical to the right wing or something.
I like the colors.

cyberarts, man what an idea and what a great job you did with it, also the cow is fantastic brilliant art drawing, you choosed a better pose in last image where it fits more to a journey beginning, the cow looks so nice how about a flying tung to side will give her a special lovely interesting and funny look. :thumbsup:
