Title: Concept Art: Thai Flight
Name: Thierry Doizon
Country: Canada
Software: Photoshop
Spaceship flying over an asian-like landscape, unknown planet. More time than my usual speedpaintings, I will need to work on the ship a bit more and define the 3 circles on the background but hey!... tired.

I like very much the feeling of altitude, and movement in your painting.
Details are great too...
The eye can travel into the composition without beeing lost. Great!

Very Nice, just one crit...
For me I think you should loose the huge rock archway on the left in the distance, behind the ship in the forground withthe glowing orange engines / exhausts. It kinda looks like you just copied the smaller one to the right of the scene and IMO is too big dwarfing the mountains.
Other than that really nice stuff, personally I dont think it really matters that its not finished, it adds a nice style to it.

thanks everyone for your support, I just started with a speedpainting (using Photoshop) first to lay down the atmosphere and composition, and then worked few hours more. I used some photos of thai ricefields at dusk for the color scheme (knowing that I wanted some flashy green + warm tones) but nothing for the actual subject. Was a fun piece to do, I'm soon finished with another painting... no spaceships, no metallic structures, just nature!
